Coote 5
Theoretically snaring should be more successful on darker nights rather than moonlit ones. What difference has moonlight made in your experience? Quote Link to post
snareman 3
Theoretically snaring should be more successful on darker nights rather than moonlit ones. What difference has moonlight made in your experience? Best rabbit snaring nights are a good blowing wind dark and overcast, with a smirl of rain coming through the wind. Rabbits feel secure and travel well out on these type of nights. Bright moonlight and quiet nights they dont travel far. But on moonlight nights and a good wind, when the clouds are flittin across the sky, you will get kills on these type of nights. G.W - Snareman, Scotland (snaring experience: 53 Years.)
