If it's only worked day time it will be no good on the lamp it will hunt up if it miss

thats what puts me off as it is set in its ways and when it misses its off hunting.i had this problem before with a beddiexgreyhound and after 3mths every nite it was just pulling ya hair out so it went back.this isnt the dogs fault its hows its been brought on

i cant speak for others but mine is a strong willed dog with a very high prey drive and was brought on daytime with ferrets and terriers. and he has adapted to lamping reasonably well. however he does put his nose down now and again. this is a nuisance but i live with it as it is of my making. ;) if i had brought him in as a lamping dog i would be a frustrated owner :) maybe it would be better if the dog was placed in a home that suited the way it works. rather than being unsuitable and passed on again. they are a good cross but i feel for rabbits the second cross would have more to offer ;)
