Doglost Co-Ordinator 4
I'd take it back & see if he can help you with anyones dog thats missing. We have a permanant site a couple of mile away. One of they're dogs was running around the road & picked up by some one who didnt know it was there's. The next day I got a call asking if I knew anyone who had picked up a dog cos the kids were round the streets shouting it. I rang the people who had the dog- only til vets opened to scan for a chip they were not keeping it, they brought dog back up & kids were estatic. None of them can read or write but they went to my friend. 'Thanku Mister cos we loves our dog' its escaped since but has a collar with a phone number on now Best get a few friends - never know when they'll come in handy, they tend to remember favours. arcticgun 4,548
As said above, take it back to the owner, most travellers are spot on (as with most people), the minority always spoil it for the rest in all walks of life, the dog should be with it's owner. Shame on the fella who tried to take your dog though, wants a good hiding atb Richard Quote Link to post
