JordKil 0
I found a staffy x whippet in the paper where I live and was wondering if this was the bullx's that some of you use? Also are they any good or are they too heavy set to run rabbits etc.? Its a bitch at 7 months for 150 pound. Doesnt say it works or has but would obviously need more training etc before getting out. Any thoughts? Cheers Jordan Quote Link to post
sniper 30
A Few people on these Forums have them mate, try doing a search, they would be good for Rabbits if he/she has thrown racy, and quite leggy i think around 19-20 inch would do for you mate I Think a more Racy/leggy type would be better rather than one thats thrown more bull, good luck anyhow mate, Will you only be running rabbits mate with it Quote Link to post
JordKil 0
Aye mainly rabbits but could be handy to retrieve the odd shot fox/deer/hare... or two lol. I'll look into it cheers mate Jordan Quote Link to post
Guest dances
NO ITS NOT A BULL CROSS ITS A STAFF CROSS Quote Link to post
Guest world.hunters
Staffordshire BULL terrier, does that no also mean its a bull cross, or does any dog named as a BULL X have to be pure, pitbulls. what if there was a dog that is bred with a whippet to a pit x staff. Staffishire BULL terrier English BULL terrier Pit Bull Terrier etc all BULL breeds as for it working it depends how it has thrown if its quite whippety then could do well on the rabbits and maybe on the retreiving side but the size will be a bad point for the dog if you want it to track not saying it cant be done it can but its always helps to have a bigger dog if thats what your game is mate. Guest dances
NO, YOUR WRONG. NOT ALL DOGS REFERED TO AS BULLX'S ARE BULLX'S Quote Link to post
Novalicious 1
imo, ive always classes EBT as bullys and that seems to be the case when this breed is bred, but its hard to find a "fit not fat" EBT, and theres plenty of athletic staffys about so could be a dcent breeding, aslong as both parents are good workers i dont see a problem with the pups been good, but dont choose a stubby one expectin it to run much lol Quote Link to post
