plummer did a lot for workin dogs ok he was a bit of a bullshiter but how anyone can slag all his dogs of is rubbish i wouldnt want one of them terriers but i have known of a few good ones over the years ok ive not been on here as long as some but i think i know a bit more ???? also the person who put ther 14 week old terrier on rats YOUR A IDIOT FOR THAT AND YOU SHOULDNT HAVE DOGS thanks mark

I think you'll find Molly's been on here a lot longer than most of us, but disappeared back end of last year.

 

Probably took a road trip to the North of Scotland, the wrote a book about her adventures there, and PT owners she has encountered on the internet.

Ive entered terrier to rat at ages from as young as 12 weeks, to 12 months,...ive never had a terrier ruined buy how we entered them...the only one that came close was a dog Royston owned...he started dropping rats, and messing around with them...so we kept him off them for a month and he has been hell on them ever since...all dogs are different, and should be treated as such...would i enter a puppy to rats again, whislt young?...if i thought it would benifit the pup, YES!...IF i thought it needed to be around 12 months, then i would enter it at 12 months (imo, a dog should be wanting to go at rats a bit younger mind you)...a good rule is around the 6-10 months age...but Bricca is the best little ratter i have had, and one of thebest i have seen...her sister, although a little later to start is also a great ratter i hear...and these where belly sisters...just goes to show how they are indiviuals,...they are NOT made in a factory...they are BORN!...Hence they are all different!..

beleave me iam no fanatic of plummer but he got a lot of dogs noticed most of us have read at least one of his books the amount of folks who have associated dbp to me when they have asked what kind of dog is that and i reply lurcher ,oh i read a book about them written by a dbp,Why do you lot give the man loads of shit he was a caracter who also made a bit of money out of the dogs thers no one else around who is associated with the dogs like him i dont want to make the man a marter but you always want to slag this bloke of let him resti for one think he did more good then bad

i have been in to working dogs for a long time and during my early days read a few of his books i always thought the was a bit of fiction there but it give me some enjoyable reading and again think he did a lot more good then bad and fellman your old mate mick used to read a bit of his stuff cause he got some of my old books back in the early 80s and still had them when he left us thanks mark

you wouldnt be the first...and bingo' you've got a top selling dog book

do the same with fishing, guns...the skys the limit
