Aint she a bit young to be out running after rabbits as she will still be growing mate. I like to leave my dog till they are 10month at least, it reduces the chances of long term injures

A nice ferreting trip is good training for the pup.

 

Take it nice and easy, but if the dog has got it let it have it. Just control the runs, as you know the pup is still a pup, still growing, still maturing etc..............

 

Ive always gone by that method, never failed.

 

Next season if all your training has gone to plan your bitch will be mustard!
