building up stamina

Recommended Posts

I'm a jogger so my dogs hit the tracks with me and we do a few miles.

That combined with good grub, good rest and a daily check over seem to do them ok.

:good: If you can do a bit with 'em, it'll make all the difference to both when the season kicks in.

Bosun...my season started about two months ago.

We are out every day without fail as I live on my permission

Aye Stabs, I know how your seasons work down there... Live the dream, your a fortunate man!

That line was for those over here ;)

Sorry mate...my misunderstanding.

As a little aside, sometimes the jogging and hunting spill into each other :D

work,food,sleep.....work,food,sleep.......work,food,sleep an so on....please dont tie your dogs to any motorcars its not safe if your dog gets cramp or a strain itll just keep running and make its self worse let it do what it can on its own..if you put game in front it should never stop chasing no matter how done in it is......or no matter how slow it ends up chasing ha ha

you can have the fittest dogs in the world but without plenty of electrolytes in them before and after they are run they wont last long. you will be supprised how many people run them without giving them fluids and like a car without water they go pop and drop like a brick

good point there shaun alot of natural salts are lost after hard runs

and the electrolites replace them and aids a quick recovery ;)
