With all due respect to the various mainstream Hunting sites, i think any anti or reporter could infiltrate us. They could quite easily gather enough ammo to shoot us in the foot. This opportunity could be ideal to show us in a positive light. To shut up shop will get us nowhere and may even give the reporter a reason to pen a negative story of our unco-operative nature. cheers wex

its because of the media and the bullshit they sprout that helped get in banned in the f*****g first place ?? so yeah i will avoid the media thanks but you go knock your self out, and show them how you do it, but just remember when it all goes tits up and they have twisted everything you have done it wont just be you that is judged it will be all of us.

after reading all the replys of other people i still whouldnt take them out lamping. if i was going to take them i whould take them rating let them tell the public where sickos for killing rats with dog & see how meany people belive them. people get educated about the damage rats do becouse they can afect everyone where as most rabbits only afect farmers ect. someone sead that the press never whent to any hunts pre ban but they did pre ban the papers whent to hare courseing aswell the papers where full off anti hunt storys with pics to go with it about how crule hunting with dogs is. jessy maybe you could put a pic of a coppy of this pro hunting story the paper wrote about you becouse i have never seen one in my life if you or you mate made front cover you must of keeped a coppy. i am not saying it didnt happen but seeing is beliveing and it might even give me a paper that is worth reading that dosent just print lies.

I hadn't read this thread, but LDR mentioned it to me tonight while we were lamping; we were both of the oppinion DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH REPORTERS !! They will tell you anything to get you out there, but the story they write up for their newspaper will be completly different !! It will be all about "savage dogs", "blood thirsty hunters" and "cuddly rabbits being torn to bits" !!!! There is NO reporter that would give this a positive spin; they need sensationalism to sell papers. Please DO NOT be naive enough to fall for this !!

Spot On. We all know the Law regards hunting with dogs day+night, and they DO.??? Catching 1/2 dozen rabbits, with a [ soft mouth, well trained lurcher, AINT going to sell papers. And thats all they should see.?? . Let them wright about [ muggers,junkiess, 3 Million on the dole by 2011 ]

you probibly was still in infants school when it was done it was back in the age where dogs were aloud to be dogs ,and shown how to do things proper by proper owners not kids with pets ,i was your age then,if you want to read all about it get in touch with the sunday observer paper one of the bigest national sunday papers and ask them to go back and find it for you ,the person that done the report was also a reporter in the viet nam war ,if you know what that was .{funny that there is a little bit of dought ,especialy on this site}NOT. manda ,i did not lie about being on here to learn ,and it was not to trick any one, i was learning what folk were like on here ,wether they knew what they were on about when it came to working a lurcher or not ,i answered your question am i grit truithfuly i told you i was not ,but i did not give you a answer to you other question {do i know him }

of course i am acting in a defencive manner some times ,because of some of the ideotic replys that have been aimd at me by some on here {,not all }what else should i do just let it go and say nothing ,im afraid im not that type of person ,im of the old school never take any thing lying down ,i find that it helps stop some of the crap being thrown at you time and time again im not here to argue as you put it but it seems if you write what you have seen or done and it has worked out ok ,then if you try to explain to others some just dont want to except it and then it gets a bit heated ,if that is wrong then why does this site exist .just like to say that grit is probibly one of the best worker of lurchers that this country has ever seen ,those that know him will say the same ,and a lot of people have heard how good his dogs have turnd out that includes J DARCY on this site ,grit is no part timer he is still at it and is older than i am .we can not belive what has happend to the way things have gone from bad to worse since the ban ,his thread was taken of last night because he asked for it to be after we had a talk last night before going out for a walk with the pup .

Im the same but rather than peev myself off with replying you have to learn to take it on the chin sometimes then that way i can enjoy the site alot more, you should know then that we all have opinions and we all have to respect that, so just try and chill out a bit and as long as in your mind the way you do things is right then who gives a sh*t, just enjoy the site there is alot of people on here who's advice is well worth it in my eyes
