ribb 15
can honestly say that i can't see any good coming of it.i don't think that we would ever be able to show the antis anything that would make them see sense and give us a break unless we we're opperating some sort of catch and release system.they are never going to be happy with us killing the" poor wee things".even humanely dispatched means broken neck no i really canny see them being happy with that Quote Link to post
Guest hpool_hunter
another thing is PERMISSION - since this is what the story was based on - * people who wander off and tresspass* .... you cant exactly take the reporters on a * poaching* mission can you ... so you would need suitable land within the * local* area , im sure i havent got it round here , we do have permission but over past scotch corner , and i cant see them travelling out there . so thats another factor to consider HH Edited February 19, 2009 by hpool_hunter Quote Link to post

Your last sentence says it all...........he thought hunting rabbits with dogs was still illegal!!!!!!!! Before anyone thinks about going lamping with the press, wanna make sure they have another story printed stating the facts of the hunting ban first........if they cant even look into it to find out whats legal and illegal, i'd question their commitment and integrity!!!!!! Loads of harm can be done by this if it doesn't go the way you want it!!!!!! Imagine the story going against you, you'll be slaughtered by everyone.....the antis will have enough ammo they wont know what to do with it.......... Quote Link to post

Guest mickyrichardson
well graham your a fool if you actually go through with this and anybody who is thinking this is a good idea need to think a little bit more or maybe read a few papers one little thing happened a few year ago where a man out hunting came across a farmer trapped under his tractor and saved this mans life and the newspaper in question ripped this man apart as he was poaching with dogs there was loads of publicty about this man for tresspassing and not alot about the fact he saved a mans life the man even got arrested for carrying a knife at the scene please think about what you getting yourself in for papers dont want to prove people wrong about hunting they would rather see us as farm thieves and mindless thugs and someone taking them out is not going to help at all Quote Link to post
