Guest miller1989
forgive me if im wrong but isnt everyone on this site always slating anti's and people that are against hunting this is our chance to show people the hard work and dedication we put in to do the things we do and to show we have the upmost respect for our quarry and eveything and at the end of the day you have to give it a try to show these people that dont know anything about what we do how we take it so serriously and how dedicated we are to this sport and it might even open a few peoples eyes What harm could it possibly do anyway mate enough damage is being done and to be honest we are not doing enough for our sport this is an opertunity i would snap it up,i dont think it would do alot but,put them in the correct place and leave us to it for a while untill the next bolics write-up! Then when the antis do get there way and eveythings illegal you can say you give it your best shot! Also well done HH just seen that reply you should all get together and show them whats what! LDR 29
forgive me if im wrong but isnt everyone on this site always slating anti's and people that are against hunting this is our chance to show people the hard work and dedication we put in to do the things we do and to show we have the upmost respect for our quarry and eveything and at the end of the day you have to give it a try to show these people that dont know anything about what we do how we take it so serriously and how dedicated we are to this sport and it might even open a few peoples eyes I know what you're saying graham and in an ideal world maybe we could do that...........i think the reality is that this is the press we're dealing with here and regardless of whether its a local rag or a sunday tabloid, they dont have the same morals as normal humans and will print what they like!!!! Another thing to remember is they wont be printing 'YOUR' story, but their own findings on the night........ ........ if they were interested in the real issues of lamping with dogs, they would've researched it before they went to print with the shit one..........as stated before, they are only interested in scandal, cos shit sells better than real life!!!!! Maybe you could ask to see the story before it goes to print, not that it'll make any difference, they'll write what they think will sell!!!!!!! Quote Link to post

JPTfellterrier 65
newest email Hi Jenny We aren't in the business of reporting "biased stories". We report with the information we have to hand, which is what we did with the article which appears to have caused so much offence with information that was passed on from reliable sources - in the case the police. It would appear people are quick to hide behind usernames or nicknames while being critical of the newspaper on internet messageboards, but less willing to co-operate when we present them with an opportunity to show themselves in a better light than may have been portrayed in the original article. If you could pass on the message in cyberspace that the offer was made to the lamping community to help us produce a positive article, it would be appreciated. Many thanks Ian Quote Link to post
Guest hpool_hunter
if anything does happen , always make sure no other dog gets off if more than 1 dog on a rabbit , we all know it , both dogs jump on it with a game of tug of war , and then . .... GAME OVER paper would have a feild day , if anything was to go ahead , you can just do it on a whim , has to be planned . so NO f**k UPS , dogs that would be at the night would all have to be working 100% lamp , with good retrieve and no f**k abouts ect , all best with whatever if anything goes ahead . LDR 29
That last email to me is a shit attempt at manipulation!!!!! We want to write a positive un biased story......unless i'm the only one with 20/20 vision, if that was the case the first story wouldn't have been written would it??? Another thing to consider, do you really want your faces splashed all over a news paper??? Quote Link to post
