Guest Crosshair Posted May 25, 2006 Report Share Posted May 25, 2006 I am a big fan of plummers books, they've kept me entertained for years and anyone who can get people to buy 20 copies of what is in effect the same story deserves some respect......... chapter two,,the db plummer story. the story moves on when plummer moves to rotherham i,ll quote his words from my diarys.. right my boy i was ratting a team of terriers all decended from mundane and having better longer more intelligent names of the like that no terrier had ever been called. i would enter them to rat then fox then badger as i dont think i ever had a terrier jib to badger like the rest of the terrier world. by the way readers the badger must allways be dead before the dogs are allowed near it. when fully entered to dead badgers then you may try them on hedgehogs.i once entered a team of king charles spanials to dead badgers but i digress from the tales as i am wont to do. while in rotherham i had loads of birds that wanted pratting after i had told them about my boxing/ acedemic abilitys as well as finding me permission to rat my pack , i even let one name my ferret after i made her read my greek mytholagy book. it was the very same ferret that bit richard whitley but alas i run ahead of my tale.while in rotherham i was working in a school but the headmaster frowned on my ratting exploits i would tell trying to impress the ladies in the staff room.so after feeling that i wasnt to get promoted and killed all the rats in yorkshire i had to move to huddels ford but alas that is the que for another chapter....... huddelsford..... .......but that is hilarious! First proper belly laugh plummers work's ever given me! You should rewrite his entire collection! Link to post

To make sure, some of them stuck old copys of EDRD to themselves, set fire to them and jumped in front of the traffic on the M6 you sstupid twat Link to post

I would'nt trust any of the two of you, as far as I could throw you??. As for anyone wanting a Plummer Terrier, there's feck all wrong with that particular breed or type of terrier if its working, and fulfills it owners needs!! that being the case it probably deserves its place on this forum, as a working terrier. I would state again clearly!!!! I don't have any issue re: the Plummer Terrier. My problem lies, with liars and backstabbers leading and promoting breed registers?? I've met many Plummer owners oweners who have struck me as honest and reliable, and the majority of their dogs are the same, Big V and others I've met, who keep these dogs, do it for the love of the type/breed and not for personal gain or reward! these are real working dog enthusiasts Tom Bloody hell!! Err right well I and some friends have created the European-Plummer-society we are trying to get unification of all plummer owners to promote the breed. Sue Rothwell is I believe not running the ptcgb as a proper club(no accounts no committe no constituion ect ect) hence we started the middle way group. We ourselves will be hoping to get her members to join us, we will object if the PTCGB (sue rothwell) applies for KC as i feel that her database is incorrect. I would hope that someone other than sr could comeforth and start talking as miss rothwell seems to be laying down too many rules before hand! for talks to get off the ground.
