Out of interest Moo they say you have more chance of getting ran over crossing the road than being involved in a plane crash, What are the figures for choppers having to ditch per flights to and from Offshore instalations? It looks like the lads were lucky the sea was quite calm ...it doesnt happen very often considering theres more thsan 50 chopper flights a day out of Aberdeen alone .....Ive been sitting in the heliport for 2 days waiting on fog to clear and flew out to a rig yesterday. It looks like it was text book TOMO and the lads were in the life rafts for 40 mins but I can guarentee you it must of been a long 40 mins Quote Link to post Share on other sites
