Any suggestions for cleaning/disinfecting an area of ground that has been subjected to s serious amount of the above? Have taken on some land that I want to extend my garden into so it needs to be human/pet/plant friendly. Would Jeyes do it?

Thanks!

That rings a bell - isn't it anything that make water go cloudy/milky that can kill ferrets. Can't think of the technical word, but seem to remember reading it in a James McKay book years ago.

Does anyone know if Jeyes would stop plants growing afterwards?

Many thanks.

Ah yeppers, phenol, think that was it. Thanks, Geoff! Has anyone got any other suggestions, preferably anything that is human/animal and plant friendly?

Boiling water and a hard bristle brush is the best to clean things,Kills all germs and every thing else. Then hose down after!!
