Graham Nicholson 0
its full of bullshit written by the countryside alliance and all its little friends. The Countryside Alliance is no friend of the Terrier Man or Lurcher Man likewise the Countryman’s weekly, visit any large Game Fair where’s the Terrier Stands tucked up in the far corner, Main arena Gun dogs Fly Fishing Edited February 18, 2009 by Graham Nicholson

Stabs 3
edrd is alot better than cmw EDRD might not be around forever though....then what?
shepp 2,285
This kind of inverted snobbery is no help to hunting as a whole. Whether you think the mag is shit or not, the most important thing is it's on the shelf, in the village or high street. It's presence alone helps to make hunting normal in the eyes of the average man in the street. The more hunting goes underground the less likely things can survive, let alone the ban being turned around. Try looking at the big picture.
Graham Nicholson 0
edrd is alot better than cmw EDRD might not be around forever though....then what? I think that it’s a foregone conclusion that the internet and web sites such as this, has brought about the end, or decline in subscriptions to such magazines as the CMW, and if they are to survive they certainly need to be more supportive to working dogs and dog men in particular, which up until now they are not, likewise with the Countryside Alliance that are made up from a bunch of snobs interested in shooting & fly fishing, nothing wrong with these two sports, however hunting is hunting? Who’s shouting for us dog men certainly not that lot, which includes the CMW.

I take your point perhaps you should take mine, the bottom line is Lurcher & terrier work is a dirty scar to them, you won’t find the terrier classes at the Midland Gamefair in the main arena? WHY you tell me?

Tell it to the Countryside Alliance J R Hartly Did'nt he write the book about fly fishing Seriously I can understand what your saying, many shooters and farmers do look at lurcher and terrier men being pretty low in the food chain. How we can change that I don't know.

Tell it to the Countryside Alliance J R Hartly Well we can stop buying Magazines that don’t support us or “email them†protesting that if they don’t support us, we will stop supporting them by buying there magazine, and lobby the Countryside Alliance, who support snobs & is run by snobs talking bollocks.
