waz.k 0 Posted February 18, 2009 Report Share Posted February 18, 2009 hi there. i'm new to this hunting life and looks like a good place to get to no things. and the thing i need to no is. as anyone used or owened a bsa lightning xl, with a gasram fitted. i am in two minds wether to get one fitted or not because its a v.good air rifle and don't want to get rid of it but they are very twangy, and make a harsh noise when fired, and i've been told a gas ram will solve everything. any one help me make my mind up.. thanks Quote Link to post

andyfr1968 772 Posted February 20, 2009 Report Share Posted February 20, 2009 I fitted one to my Webley Xocet a while back (from the chap above) and it's made a huge improvement. No more twangs and rattles! I've had an HW90 for a long time and while I wont say it shoots as well as the HW, it's not too far off. It's easy to change back, though God knows why you'd want to... I'd better Moth-ball my spring Guns. Spend 3 or 4 hundred quid Extra on Something that I niether Really need or Can afford......... Sound advice On this Topic. Thanks......
