tote 856
Due to moving house and the ground being too hard it's been a while since I was last out with Bob. Tonight I picked up Tam then went down to Jimmy's for a shine. Tam had his air rifle and Jimmy took Bob. The conditions were far from ideal, flat calm and a bit light as well which meant the rabbits didn't hang about for long when the lamp was switched on. It must be said that Tam shot well and Bob ran well, especially when you consider that he pulled a nail out last week. One of his catches is worth telling, Bob had caught a rabbit up the side of a hedge about 100 yards away and was bringing it back, I kept the beam on as i'd seen another rabbit sitting tight 30-40 yards out from the hedge and right in Bob's path. When he got to it the rabbit took off as did Bob with the first rabbit still in his mouth, he ran about 5-10 yards then dropped it and went on to catch the second rabbit after a couple of turns. Pic from tonight, Jimmy with Bob and the 15 rabbits. Quote Link to post
