JordKil 0
Well just recently one of my jills (who came into season early) has given birth to 8 wee kiits and I was wondering that when they are older (summer ish) if they could go after younger rabbits (not tiny wee kits though the fluffier ones!) I know its out of the ferreting season but perhaps it could work (or not!) What are your opinions on it? Just an idea lol Cheers Jordan Quote Link to post

Was the season induced in an artificial environement?? I have never seen or had jill come in season so early? No they live in my shed with a window giving them natural light. I found this strange as well. Cheers Jordan Quote Link to post

Leeview 791
No ferrets are brought into season by light, more light less darkness induces them into season, leaving a light on after nightfall could trigger this ferret kits are skeletally fully grown at 18wks so kits born 1st of February will be fully grown by mid June Y.I.S Leeview Quote Link to post
lorelei0922 2
we've had two come into season already in the past two months ... no artificial light whatso ever and a rather dim court that faces away from all sunlight... happening earlier and earlier.. had to seperate my hobs out over a month ago as well...
