Sterry 0
i was reading an article in countryman's weekly and say a article that mentioned summer ferreting, now, i've never heard of this, presuming the ferrets would just go down and only kill the young. Has/Does anyone do this nad i would be very interested in the hows and ins and out of this. (ordered some net making stuff goin to make a few for next season...or this summer if this lark turns out a goer) Quote Link to post

stubby 175
it depends wether you ferret purely for sport, or for pest control, someone asked the same question this week on here, my answers the same, will ferret all year round if asked, and even if not, I still go to certain permissions, to keep the numbers down, why stop when they are increasing their numbers it may mean a few extra digs Quote Link to post
Hob&Jill 258
Nope I dont ferret in the summer. I like it that way, at the end of the season I am always ready to stop and looking foward to doing something else on the weekends, keeps me keen for the winter too. Quote Link to post
