hunter16 0 Posted February 17, 2009 Report Share Posted February 17, 2009 well im new to the hunting scene and have a 3 month old lurcher that im going to start lamping at about 6 months. i jus wundering how could i make a lamping kit and how to go about lamping? pup retrieving dummie to hand if that makes a difference............ oya iv a 4yr old full bred border terrier is he to old to start working? how would i train him? any advice welcum Quote Link to post Share on other sites
victor 10 Posted February 18, 2009 Report Share Posted February 18, 2009 well, you can goto a hard wear store and buy a cheap road side assitance light, open up the back and you'll see 2 wires take them off the shit little battery (pull battery out as well) get some longer lengths of wire from a bed side lamp or something, and some how get your hands of either a car battery or one from a golf cart thay work a treat, but if you have abit of money just buy a decant lmp and battery Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Just try get your training in for the first year to get him stock broken and retrieving trained. Also his bones will still be growing so be careful he doesnt run hard otherwise you'll screw him up in later life. Patience is a virtue and he'll be picking them off by then!
