Afraid I am completely clueless apart from our 1 hour falconry lesson for Christmas in Fife which was fantastic and left me wanting to know more. The reason Im asking is that I want to use feathers in an art project, printing from them through a roller press and it would be lovely to use some more unusual feathers - the ones you can buy all seem to be boring and usually shocking pink. No idea however whether people would have any or whether anyone would be willing to part with them... The reason I joined this forum incidentally is my 12 month old lurcher so Ive been mooching around the lurcher section of this site for ages, some great info on here. Anyway, hope this isnt too cheeky, and if anyone can help Id be really grateful. Feathers dont need to be specifically from birds of prey by the way, just thought this might be a good place to start.( Project is on 6th March.) Cheers Ag Quote Link to post
