Guest RobW71
Are your Jills in season, pregnant? Let them run with the Hob, and see what happens. I've never had a real problem introducing new Ferrets, A little scrapping but always kept an eye on them(Sores, Bites and Scratches) they've always settled down. Do you know where the Hob came from, is he nice and healthy? Regards Rob Quote Link to post
LDR 29
You said earlier to me you only had the one mate, is the hob castrated or vasectimised? Quote Link to post

Guest RobW71
What's the problem then? mating is a violent affair. Or don't you want to breed? then you will have to get another hutch unless he's a Jaff(infertile)then he'll be ideal to bring your Jill out of season. Regards Rob Quote Link to post

Guest Geordie
Matty, ferrets arent lovers theyre fighters, even when theyre making love to the jills it looks like theyre raping them Ive got a vasectomised hob and 2 jills at this time of year you would think there was a sex party going on in their hutch Also my jills drag each other around and also drag the hob around i know it looks a bit violent but its just the way they are mate.Just keep an eye on them that they dont cause each other any real damage Quote Link to post
