YOKEL 2,229
i'd get it look at, as others have said, dog's carry alot of shite about in there mouths. awhile back now a fella i used to beat with took a bite on the hand, did'nt look to serious, gave it a wash and stuck a plaster on it, next morning it did'nt look to sharp and he'd lost some sensation in his fingers, come the afternoon his missus made him go to the dr's, that was the last thing he rememberd, woke up 3 days later on a hospital ward after having emergency surgery for blood poisening, it was tracking up his arm on it's way to his heart, they recon had he not gone to the dr's at that time he'd of been dead by the morning, an extreme case i know, but best be carfull i.m.o. cost nothing to see the quack... therays22 0
as a nurse and midwife my advise would be to clean it immediately, go see your gp first as it would probably be quicker, get a course of anti biotics to cover yourself as for tetanus injections you may find that they won't give you one as the new directive is that if you have had three injections over the course of your lifetime them you are fully covered for life and many areas are following this. most of our kids have them injections within the first few years of life with a final one at about the age of 15 so good luck
