Bevwallis 7
Unless you clean it really well it is highly likely to get infected. I use diluted peroxide- it will sting but it needs really thorough cleaning.Do it proper(scrub an all) and you should be ok
brassneck 128
Dogs have alot of bacteria in their mouth and on their teeth . you should at least have a tetnes booster if youve not had one in last few years .And keep cuts clean as possible . I had my arms and legs chewed by MY rottie ,it broke my arm and took a chunk out me leg . have to be careful dont get an infection . if u have any signs of infection or it smells rotten getsome antibiotics frm doc. Doglost Co-Ordinator 4
Either see doctor for a tetnes or antibiotics. If it starts to go wrong it will take longer than sorting it out now, plus you dont know if the other dogs vax'd upto date or if any jabs.
Malt 379
I'd get yourself to the local A&E to have it cleaned & dressed, there's all sorts of bacteria in a dogs mouth.
