A good friend of mine has taken a collie cross/ whippet from the dog trust, its been to five different homes and has gone back every time due to its aggression. She has taken it on and is determined to try her best to sort the problem out for the dog. She's contacted so many people asking for advice and no one seems able to help her. Im not sure of the exact details but if any dog trainers could PM me I will send her email address if you fancy giving her a bit of advice? Thanks in advance.

it all depends on what type of aggression the dog has .. fear aggresion, dominance, dog, human, ??? to treat and try and cure aggresion the root cause has to be determined, pm me her e mail address and i will see if i can help, but its very difficult to diagnose and treat unless you can actually see the dog and its behavioure ........

I am no expert - well I have dogs and I train them (mostly as pets and hunting on occasion but not encouraged) and my horses to harness (my profession). I have rescued dogs and cats and horses.

She can ring me (get my number off my website) or email me (ditto). If I can help, I will gladly try.

Cheers

Pignut
