runforyourlife 361 Posted February 17, 2009 Report Share Posted February 17, 2009 A Rough coat is much more water water proof than a broken one, keeps the dog much warmer, and needs combing so as not to matt. A rough coat can be short tight hair but very thick, almost 2 coats. A broken coat can be short with whispy bits about it.... The grey dog is rough, The black dog is broken... Quote Link to post
