how would you wire up 2 12v 7 amp battery`s together

alreet just got a few 12v 7amp batterys and was woundering how you guy`s would wire 2 ov them together,

 

 

would you put red 2 red and black 2 black,

 

as in mot sure i no it works for the 6v batterys but not sure on the 12v 1`s

 

any advice would be more than greatfull

You need to wire them in parallel mate. ie; connect both reds together and both blacks together, then connect the lamp wires to these as you would with one battery. If you connect them in series ie; red to black red to black, you will double the voltage and blow the bulb.

That would deffinately give you 14 amp/hour but will take longer to charge. You ideally want a bigger charger for a 14 amp battery pack.

cheers mate that worked a treet bud, i got a RAC charger mate that i use on car batterys so that will do the job
