The government here has abosolutley no back bone and is pretty pathetic. You can now be granted a FAC ticket and go and get a 243. within reason at the age of 17 but you have to be 18 to buy an air rifle? What is this about!!? Tell you something for nothing noone will be taking my air rifles and if the do a door to door my rifles have "Vanished" . There is alot more i wish to say on this matter but i know i cannot due to forum rules

mainly thire kids running around stabbing and shooting people.

come back with say legs blown off (20 year old lad in papers recently)

come back and dont get f**k all get told they can build him a bungalo

how many more of those are there out there that we never hear about.

And people from any other country get free house,money and do what they want with MY tax money

I think putting some sort of license on airgun's is a good thing,

But i think if they do they should not put a limit to what ftps the rifle is set.

It would be good because it would stop all the little "Hardcore Ned's" keeping air rifle's and using them illegally to make themself's look "Aarrd"

Lewis agree with you all the way mate.Licensing is the way and a limit of say 25ft/lbs,just over double what your geting now plus if you've gone to the time and trouble to register your gun it should be taken into consideration that you've made the effort to do it the right way...but it still won't stop the arses from getting them.They banned handguns,but you can go to any major city in the UK and little scrotes flash them about for fun(this is not media make believe,this is real)...

just to raise a point, your going on about all the immigrants sponging off out benefit system (which i agree with you upon, needs to be sorted out) but im pretty sure there are many many more born and bred english people who have never worked a day in their lives and they will probably raise kids that will never work a day in their lives and probably contribute as much to the stabbing and shootings as immigrants and so the cycle continues..... now that needs to get sorted before anything else.

A very good point, very well spoken. It's not something that can ever be sorted on here, but it touch's very well on some of the issues that have caused so much bad feeling on here.

All the folks on this forum have (I hope) the best interest of our shared sport and our country at heart. Please let us not loose sight of why we are on here. We love our sport and deplore the f**kwits who may take it away from us all.

Can we all please, remember what we're about and not let this degenerate into insults???
