IanB 0
People say you can't blame the parents.................. Yeh my f*****g arse, kids should know right from wrong, respect for their elders, etc, etc, we see it everyday around us, our society is on a major downward spiral, compared to 20,30,40 year ago.. big time... Tell you the truth nothing suprises people no more... Our own country is getting flooded by immigrants, our own kids are knocking kids out, the school system is a joke, loads of kids come out and can't read or write our own language?????? Theres more wayne and waynetta slobs everywhere chaved up to the max, completly sucking the country dry, won't look at work, most born into it.... Yeh come to the UK it's great?? Even half of the members of parliament are raving faggots and shirt lifters ...
dwalin 0
id like to box the parents myself of these kids myself we have six kids between us and this lad doesn't look old enough to be playing out alone never mind having sex. and as for the girl she looks twice his age. i hope they have asked for a DNA to be done. i have two lads one 15 one 16 and lord help them if they get a girl pregnant before they are old enough to earn enough to keep the bairn financially and emotionally. perhaps if the parents knew this lad was that mature they should of taught him the art of buying condoms and the lass should of been on the pill. something really fishy bout this to me but maybe im getting cynical in my old age. poor little bairn though although im assuming the granparents will be doing the raising and hopefully the laddie will have a pocket money increase lol. ohhh and sorry but i dont think its anything to do with council estates, down to the parents if you can not be bothered to teach the bairns right dont have em. labsnlurchers 39
I had my boy at 17, i remember my dad crying, never seen him cry before, i remember seeing the hope and expectations he had for me disappear. I was going to vet school, i was in the middle of my a levels. well to cut a long story short i had my son, i went back to college, then uni and now i work in the welsh assembly governement. My dads hope and expectations for me is back. Me and my son have struggled through, i love him more than life and would not swap him for the world but if i could go back i would wait until i was in a position financially to be able to give him the things he wanted and needed and deserved. He is 9 now and because i have finished uni and have got a really good job i can take him abroad this year, i think im going to let him pick where. I have people i know from where we lived for roberts first 2 years, they have had 3 or 4 more children in the time i have been away at college and uni, i just feel so sorry for those children to never know what it is to realise your dreams, to reach your potential and to be someone. these people have children while they are on benefit and dont stop at 1 its beyond belief to me, why anyone would want to bring another child into the struggle that you are in on benefits, i know from experience that its not easy and that is with 1 child, imagine what these children are missing out on just because thier parents are bums! Exactly what I thought Shepp ... bags of crisps and Haribo's, days in front of the telly. This kind of thing makes me want to smack somebody. That wee baby hasn't much hope even if the grandparents raise her: they clearly didn't do much of a job of it the first time around.
SportingShooter 0
Its a sad situation when something like this doesn't really shock us anymore I think there is more to this particular story than meets the eye, but that is beside the point. Radical reforms are needed before we begin to see any improvement though I fear. The school system needs to be completely re thought as far as educating youngsters about this sort of thing. As someone else said. They can get away with way too much, I mean, getting pregnant at 14, 15, 16 for housing really beggars belief. This is what happens when a nanny state appears, "they" believe in state providing for you from the "Cradle to the Grave" which is precisely what has happened here. Only were at the Cradle stage all too often. SS

Guest manda
well i was 16 when i had my son, my parents are very respectable and always told me right from wrong, but i rebeled a and went off the rails, there's alot of 40-50 yr olds that tell me about teenage pregnacys in there days but they where brushed under the carpet thats why no one heard about it, my family has always had children at the age of 17,18,19 early 20s and let me tell you lot its not always the case of being from a council estate and no job or money all my family are well off and so are my 2 children which i had as a teenager they have the best things scott works we have our own house 2 cars NO debt and no help. so silly comments about tennagers having kids dont go down well with me, we never go out and have our kids 24/7! but i must agree this case is nothing more than for money its a piss take and dont help the fact teenagers can make some of the best parents out there. the BOY looks no older than my 5 yr old!
