John-B 4
Col didn't want to go but I sweet talked him round, we are staying local as there is a couple of likely looking sets that need a ferret down spoiled for choice, the patch we are going on is steep banks and gorse bushes galore so we will be ripped to shreads more than likely, anything over 1 rabbit tomorrow will be a bonus Edited February 14, 2009 by John-B Quote Link to post

John-B 4
Had all the day typed out which took me ages but bloody internet crashed and had to be restarted so heres basically what happened, we got 4 rabbits, first one we kept alive for Col's father in laws hawk, we released it but the young hawk missed it and it got away, we got another 3 rabbits, my Jill went down the holes but wouldn't bolt the rabbits and was just coming out with furry feet so Col's big hob went down and shifted the buggers, heres a few pictures, I might type it all up later again but im totally shattered. sally waiting to pounce Bouncer was out aswell and marking well again, he does well for a flat coated retriever 5-6 foot brambles not a problem LOL Go on Col, get that spade warmed up Brambles, my hands are full of them Myself with Bouncer and my black eyed white ferret, the final bag minus the one that the hawk missed Col with his Hob and sally Some others which Bouncer just had to be in the little sod My ferret choosing which one she is going to share with my retired pole cat jill for supper Edited February 15, 2009 by John-B Quote Link to post
