hi all getting back into ferriting again and want to get a lurcher to assist,can anyonyone advise what would be the ideal type?

Well its hardly rocket science is it, behind lamping rabbits it the easist thing for a lurcher to do..I know boys who have had just as many ferreting with their dogs, as they have had lamping..any dog will take rabbits ferreting

Labs and Lurchers on this sight, has a rescue lurcher which is already trained and would be the ideal ferreting partner by all accounts. Just a thought.

Most lurchers will take to rabbiting and most will catch a rabbit all depends how much rabbiting you want to do and how serious u are if there were more rabbits on my permission it wpould be a beddy grey for me more versatile jmho

just for ferreting some kind of whipet x for deffo will do you for a bit of lamping as well
