Now then

Well as the topics suggests i'm looking to buy a charger for me pcp, which is the best option pump or dive bottle??

and any particular brands??

ta

Both have good and bad points

Dive bottles need filling from time to time, are bulky, need an annual safety inspection, but a doddle to fill up your pcp.

Hand pumps are lightweight, fairly maintainence free, but not cheap(£70-£100) and using one is like an hour at the gym! HARD WORK!

It depends what your using your pcp for,if your always at the range get a dive bottle,if out in the field controlling vermin, get a hand pump.

Ideally get both if your pockets are deep enough!

Hope this is of help

what gun are you wanting it for?

wouldnt want to fill a rapid with a pump but a ultra should be ok

Agree 100%

biggest bottle at 300 bar you can find to save journey's getting it filled as for make of either it doe's not matter as they all do the same thing and none are easier then the other although people will make you believe so.

s400 bottle as after a zero you will need to re fill and if you pump your arms will be fluffed when you try shooting your victim and make you wobble.

Now then

it's a Air arms s400 carbine, does the make and model change the pump to get?

ta

mate there is no difference between them, they will all take the same effort.

you will have a fill probe that fits to the pump and all pumps have same size hose.

I would suggest you get a used diver's bottle as I wrote above.

Years ago I used to Sell Faber 300 Bar MDE Bottles

I used to keep a Pump - lost it's Box

And often used to get ask for Pumps and used to let Shooters Try the Pump

Often over night

Still got it - must have been used by at least 50 Shooters over the years

You might be fit and believe that you could use it -

First 50 -100 are easy it's the last 50 that normally get's Shooters ;)

Prices are around the same - Decent Pump - 300 Bar Air Bottle

It's not only a fittness problem

Pumps can allow moisture to get into Gun's which is a Killer

Dive Air is Dry........... Safer

This is incorrect! you only need to have a dive bottle checked every 5 years! and its about £25 to £30 ;)
