friday 13th worst nights lamping

just got in from 3 different farms and you couldnt make this shit up !!

 

7.30pm call police to tell them im going out

 

8.30pm mate turns up

 

9.30pm get to first farm and valve once again decides to empty buddy bottle after 3rd shot

 

10.00pm mate thought he was pulling safety what was infact trigger and shot my motor !!

 

10.30pm get followed by police for ages

 

10.45pm get to second farm to find nothing but mixy rabbits

 

11.00pm get to 3rd farm to find farmer has put out live traps

 

11.15pm get this , police helecopter comes down on us and follows me home

 

 

total of 3 rabbits 2 of which where out of the live traps lol

 

as i sit and write this im expecting a knock at the door any minute .

 

moral of story - dont go out lamping on friday the 13th

At least you got 3 mate, even if 2 were out the traps. There is a couple of farms local that use traps and they don't mind me taking the rabbits out

even though you phone the police to let them know your going out it doesn`t meen they won`t turn up if they have a call from the public . the police have a duty to respond to any call from the public once they have a report involving a firearm . if they didn`t respond and a crime was committed could you imagine the investigation and public out cry that would follow ?

give the police another call and explain what happened , you may get a reason for the visit and may even get an appology . if you are approached in the future you must remember to unload and lay the gun safely on the ground right away , do not get shirty .

 

as for the friend who mistakes a safety for a trigger :wacko: i would be looking for a new shooting partner . thank your lucky stars it was your vehicle he shot .
