Sterry 0
as i've said i shoot with a .22, i always go for the head and had good results with shoulder/neck shots, i use domed pellets that dont deform much but are bloody accurate (accupells) and accuracy is key. just imagine where all the important parts are in a rabbit 1st of all head (most important), heart/ lungs also very important. but it all depends on the situaton. davyt63 1,845
I always hit them in the back, or just above the breast in the neck on front. .177 penetrates a bit more, so I take my chances. they mostly drop without flapping a wing, and thats how I like it. great thanks Where is the best place to hit a rabbit?. 00david11 0
i would always go for the head or neck area with an ar rifle because this should ensure an instant kill on most animals within reason. Quote Link to post
