dogotter 0 Posted February 11, 2009 Report Share Posted February 11, 2009 hi all,i have a slight problem ,i have lost two foxes from my wires in 4 days,the first on sunday then today,the problem is the crimped stop ends are breaking free,these snares r not the new stlye break a way.!!!!! these r the modern free run snare, i have never had this problem in 20 years .this batch was bought last year.i will not say just yet where they from until i speak to the company in the morning....if no joy from them, i will name n shame, Quote Link to post

dogotter 0 Posted February 13, 2009 Author Report Share Posted February 13, 2009 Good call Netter.. well guys ive had enough ov these shite snares,after speaking to the company yesturday about these snares,the owner told me all snares are tested with a pull test before being sold[a load ov shite] i got no joy from him,he asked me to send them down to him so he could have a look at them.[shite] it means lifting all fifty snares which i bought from him. while out yesturday i lifted a nice dog fox,but not from his type ov snare,today while out today another fox lost from his snares, im well pissed off . well the blokes name is john underwood from stratford he sells traps, snares etc, he has a web site selling these items,also in the country mans weekly, avoid disapointment dont buy from this man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OldTrapCollector 377 Posted February 13, 2009 Report Share Posted February 13, 2009 Dogotter, I think you'll join the end of a long queue of unhappy customers of his - the traps that I have seen and handled of his are cheaply imported copies and not genuine Brit made and approved ones.
