I know they're illegal to posses here in the UK, but I was wondering if any members outside the UK works them? I know they're used for Boar and Cugar a lot but is that all they're used for?

I'd like to know more about them and what any owners of them here on The Hunting Life have to say about them.

Guest foxyjo.

I watched a film about one the other day....argh...can't remember what it was called. :icon_redface: It was a strange film anyway!!

Very impressive looking dogs, not the handsomest things IMO, but what power!

i seen an old black and white clip of one killing a puma...

There's a vid on youtube showing the guys roping a puma or big cat from up a tree and the dogs piling In on It. I'm pritty sure they were Dogo's.

the one i seen maty was banned off here for being to rough... it was a big pen with a dogo and puma duking it out till the end... i think it might have been in the 40's or sometime like that

Got a link? PM me If you prefer... The one I saw was one of the spaniards and dogo's hunting up this puma/big cat till It went up a tree. They then lasooed It, pulled It down and the dogs piled In. There was a decent pack but there was some nasty injurys on some of the dogs. It showed the spanish men sewing the dogs up In the field after too.

I think they are gorgeous looking dogs. Very hard temperment, like a pitbull x 5 I'd say, since most of em are still used for hard work, whereas most pits are pet bred and have lost a lot of gameness.

Wouldn't like one as a pet to be honest unless I had vast land. I'm sick of hard dogs.

They are a mix of a load of breeds including boxer.
