HI there every im new to this i just want to ask queastion im thinking geting into ferreting and all

I just want to now is if i get a ferret should i get 1 or 2 to keep each other company.

I agree. Two ferrets would be better. It would be better in the field as well if you have rabbiting-trips for almost the whole day. In my experience, since ferrets usualy sleep about 20 hours a day, one ferret will not be working that fast and good when you've been working it for a few hours.

So when I go out ferreting for a day instead of for just a few hours, two ferrets would be my choice.

get 2 mate definetly as they are sociable creatures, although i had a polecat dog that would try to kill any other ferrets that i tried to put in with him

TWO It is very sad to see a ferret on its own, they are social creatures and need company.

hhaving 2 s heaps sick because the ferrets can work all day aslong as you work them like oppsite warrens, do the first with 1 then the next with the outher ferret

Get 2 or more because some fool like undisputed will ask to use one and lose it

but not opposite sexes unless you want to breed, obviously. Unless the male has been neutered, neutering just the female will mean that it gets ragged senseless repeatedly-but wont get preggers.
