I had a defender 90 2.5 TD with a TDI intercooler and was the best vehicle i've ever owned. Truthfully though i must admit they not the most comfortable of drives but thats all part of owning a defender, go anywhere do anything. Liam..

Aye, got a 2.4 Puma 90 XS Station Wagon on an 07 plate. Had it nearly 2 years, very good. Heater works now, heated seats are great, heated front window, Center bulkhead removed, so the seats go back and you've got legroom. Good stereo etc etc etc.

Bit pricey though. Its doing over 30 to the gallon on the road. A bit less off the road :icon_redface: .

Had one for 4 years now, does everything I want, no longer keep horses but it's great for dogs 'n' guns

:clapper: I think my mind is made up, thanks lads ;):clapper::clapper:

defenders have been my sole mode of transport for last 17 years. I have had 2 x 110 and 1x 90. I loved the 90 but wasnt enough room to get too many dogs in the back but am seriously considering exchanging the 110 for a 90 now, as I have a vw van if i need to take several dogs at a time somewhere. Cant beat defender on or off road where i live as our track is almost non negotiable in a car and we have at least 5 inches of waterfalling down it 9 months of the year....not to mention the snow and ice, and towing trailers, and fetching logs. I drove my defender across europe and it was excellent!!
