terryfox 0
I have a 452 never had a problem with it, I have shot hundreds of bunnies over the years and it has proven to be a great work horse and value for money so I would recommend one Quote Link to post
johndownes 0
I have a cz 452 american in .22cal, excellent value for money and very accurate, I love the little rifle. I also looked at the rugers but heared varied reports about them. Quote Link to post
Guest Mass_G3nocide
I love my little 10/22 but then i have heard the cz is alot better if only i could have 2 rimfire's on my license. Quote Link to post
jamie g 17
cz for me. smashing rifles for the money and will be more accurate then the 10/22. as most bolt actions are Quote Link to post
SNAP SHOT 194
CZ for me also, cracking accurate rifle for the money, a great workhorse, that will never let you down........... Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
First off what do you want it for??? Second... ..the CZ is a better rifle for most things than a 10/22.... But you can have more fun with a 10/22 if you can keep it working!! Edited February 11, 2009 by Deker Quote Link to post
humperdingle 0
You can't really compare the two directly as one is a bolt action and the other is a semi auto. I've owned a CZ452 silhouette, and they really are brilliantly accurate off the shelf. You may not get the instant second shot that a semi auto can offer, but at least you're 100% sure that the next round will be into the chamber after cycling manually. Not so 100% of the time with a semi auto using subsonic ammo. Unless you're prepared to spend a bit of money on having parts polished or replaced, the Ruger will probably not cycle subs reliably. I have a Brno (CZ) 581 semi auto, and it cycles subs no problem MOST of the time... And it's a lot of fun! Quote Link to post
sniper 1 0
cz. for me pal. i have a 452 american 17 hmr. NEVER had a problem. and very accurate. Quote Link to post
Mr Adventure 0
I had a 10/22 a few years back.....nice gun but very sensitive to ammo types. If I put the mod on and used sub's it would not feed. So it was sold. It shot fine using full power 22lr, but no use with a mod. I have mates who have no problems with their's but they don't use a mod (target use only). I use a CZ452 silhouette with SAK mod . Other gun I looked at was a SAKO Quad but a tad pricey . Hope this helps Quote Link to post
lgray88 4
judging by your name you'll just have too go with the cz 452 american, and its obvious that is what you want or your would have been 10/22 as your name if you didnt want the cz. if it was up too me id choose the cz, it works well, very accurate and its pretty cheap. liam Quote Link to post

Guest noluv6
Wat do you think i should get a CZ452 american or a Ruger 10/22 452 as it is good out the box. 10/22 if you want to build up a nice custom gun but be prepared to lose a bomb when you re sell. Quote Link to post
