havent seen any hares around barrow in furness for a few years now there used to be two or three a field going back ten years now although there are plenty of rabbits fox deer badger but not a sniff of old long ears. ive seen more foxes than them, the question is whats the population of hares like in your area ??

hello need to start breeding them i can drive 30 40 mile and not see one.i also no of one land owner that shoots all hares to keep people from going on with dogs sad eh
theres only one place i know of but the land owner would shoot any dogs on his land as he breeds sheep and hates people like lurchermen what a tosser he is

There are a few around where I live but during the daytime they are laid up in woods and lying out on the moors in reedbeds, the only time they come into the flat fields to feed is at night. Hence the reason I travel to find hares elsewhere, the nearest bit to me where you can see a few is about half an hours drive but IMO its well worth it :thumbs:

Went down to loughbrough if the spelling correct and feck me one field holded countless numbers im talking about 30-40 hares lifted in one field,day time was good to seen maybe 10 per field was like bunnys in my area lol!

Why is man branded a 'tosser' for protecting his living.

 

If he sees a dog running among his sheep what is he most likely to think?

 

He may have had sheep killed by dogs before, so therefore has branded all dogs and dogmen dangerous to his livelyhood.

Not all running dogs will be stock broken or focused enough on the target species when among stock.

 

Sheep are dumb, we all know that and die for no reason what so ever.

i called him a tosser because of an incident i had with him nothing to do with hunting
