what do you guys consider to be the best type of lurcher for doing rabbits where the fields are quiet small and the bunnies dont sit to far out so the dog would have to be quick off the mark

pure whippet or whippet greyhound are best for rabbits

for me it would have to be firstx whippet greyhound, lightning acceleration, fantastic striking ability

whippet or a grew would not last 2 good seasons on the land i work for rabbits there to prone to feet injurys im not saying they dont have a place in rabbit catching cause they do and they do it very well, it just the land i run is very rough on a dog and feet and a good coat and alot of running sense is essential
