Guest miller1989 Posted February 8, 2009 Report Share Posted February 8, 2009 Ok i dont read much into the law just respect my quarry so here goes as far as i know there must be more than one enterance to the earth,dog cant be to hard,can use a dog to draw the quarry then BOOM And the rest of the topic made not alot of sense to me your starting to dig to your dog before hes settled down and worked his quarry! diggerman 0 Posted February 8, 2009 Report Share Posted February 8, 2009 referring to the last part of post the law on ian b bit seem to state you can't dig to the fox until the dog has come out, but you can dig if the dog is trapped i still don't quite get it Quite simple if the dog does'nt come out after 20-30 minutes of being in the same spot, then for the welfare of the terrier you have to believe he is trapped, meaning you can dig down and retrieve your terrier. Make things alot simpler,i stick by the law to the best you possibly can,laws change every day and most you'll never hear about,so my advice is...stick by it best you can and if rules need to be bent a little for a good cause and no-one is watching over you go for it!
