SportingShooter 0 Posted February 11, 2009 Report Share Posted February 11, 2009 No, No and No. If you get caught with an opened out Semi which is on your Shotgun Certificate, you will a) lose your guns never get your certificates back and c) you are looking at a custodial sentence for Firearms offenses. Whats the point? If you have a need for a 5 shot auto, get your FAC for one, its not that difficult if you have a reason. Quote Link to post

Nope, you`d need a shotgun license for a normal SBS or O/U, or a 3 shot pump action or 3 shot semi, (or a 3 shot bolt action for that matter). Any shotgun which is more than 3 shot needs an FAC.
