great picture to put up on a site that young kids look at .............................

oh, lets wrap our kids up in cotton wool, dont you think were turning into a nanny state, so its ok to lets kids see pictures of dead foxes with dogs, rabbits gutted, all manner of shot game, but your kid ask's what that, you'd say nothing :hmm: Im sorry if it offended you, but I feel if parents think there kids are mature enough to be allowed on a hunting site, then they should be mature enough for anything, and if they ask, we tell our kids, we dont lie and try to keep the in the dark, and if a kids looking here, without his parents consent/knowledge, then I'd blame the parents

my youngest daughter who is 11 has,the same as all my kids been brought up with hunting and has caught more rabbits in her allready many years of hunting than you have stubby so nothing on a hunting site thats hunting related bothers her she has seen just about every huntable animal in this country dead and has helped gut and skin most of them ... she has helped me stitch up more dogs than i care to remember ..... and every step of the way i have explained why what and the reason for everything so i have never worried about her looking on a hunting site as she has been there done it and has the T shirt ......

BUT when an 11 year old asks me what she is looking at with your picture what am i supposed to say ...oh love thats a sex toy that women use to pleasure themselves with ... i dont fecking think so stubby ... if you are happy for your 11 year old daughter to see that sort of thing and explain to them what it is you need to speak to somebody ... personnaly i believe that some things dont need explaining to kids untill they reach a certain age ... and 11 aint that fecking age .............

I totally agree with you Socks, I have 3 daughters 8, 4 and 2 and they have seen no end of dead game and this is no big deal to them, for a so called MODERATOR to then put something like this on, and then get all high and mighty about it is bang out of order.

Stubby how can you compare a dead animal, which is in effect meat/food with a sex toy? It's beyond me.

Socks is right ;)

The thing with Kids is that you cant put an age on when and what needs explaining, my 10 year old lad has an head on him older than his 10 years, he seriously knows all he will ever need to , however his best mate at school doesn't have and so Socks has a point, and a sex toy is completely different to explaining sex!

This isn't the place for that kind of Rabbit pic.

Saying that i think i have been guilty of a similar offence on another forum when someone mentioned a probe they used when digging that they painted pink! :icon_redface: however if someone had pointed out the kid aspect .....i would have apologised and removed it, having not thought it through initially....i wouldn't have defended it
