Fuller 0
this is a sad story, i have a jrt and he is so soft i just couldnt picture a jrt doing that. i have a new born baby he's only 4 days old and i dont know what to do with the dog,, any advice??? Advice NEVER EVER LEAVE ANY DOG ALONE WITH A CHILD. Also, KEEP THE TERRIER AWAY FROM THE BABY! It doesnt matter if your with the dog or not, the baby is nothing more than a play thing to them, or worse, prey as in some cases. my wife had a minituare pincher, she wanted to keep him even though she was pregnant, I said that dog will not set foot in this house and had her get rid so the dog was shipped off to her parents. She wants the dog back, I now have a beatufiul baby boy and would never let that dog near him even though she thinks it is soft. It isnt, it yaps, and snaps. Anything that can harm the baby = keep it away. People might think that is harsh, but it isn't harsh, its called safety. Would you start a fight with a boxer? Of course not, you would be asking for a terrible outcome. Same with leaving babies unattended with dogs.
