Coneytrappr 30
If they left their stinker they don't deserve to have it. Fair play Sue, hope the new jill works well for you. Quote Link to post
jas88 0
its the kids own fault for being on someone elses land. poaching is theft simple! Quote Link to post
Guest tewkesferreter
theft of what, vermin. Quote Link to post
nym 0
No rest from me mate, Poachers dont have any respect for owt or they would not be poaching on someone elses land in the first place. This is the reason farmers dont let many hunt on there land We all know that permision is hard to get. Poachers no matter what age can and do end up in court for poaching, And how do you know they was only after a couple of rabbits was you there ??? have respect for other peoples land. (get permision) Quote Link to post
Guest tewkesferreter
ferrets and nets= rabbits, pretty simple really. people end up in court for tresspass, not poaching. Quote Link to post
nym 0
I think if you look up on the law of land owners you will see that the land owner owns the rabbits on his land. In our local paper there was 2 lads last week was in court for (POACHING) Each getting a fine and a criminal record. And to add they was convicted also for carrying a knife. as they didnt have permision to be on that land. Edited February 8, 2009 by nym Quote Link to post
Guest tewkesferreter
not for rabbits they wernt. Quote Link to post
Coatesy900 0
And its hardly likely a land owner is going to take a couple of kids to court for being in his feild. Its not like they were knocking walls down and vandalising the area. If they had any sense they would have stayed with the ferret and just faced the music - but instead they're down a ferret, nets and their days catch. Fair play to you - you couldnt have just left the ferret wandering around could you? If the kids manage to abandon it that thats just tough luck. Quote Link to post
xx-georgia-xx 15
well done sue for keeping the ferret rather than leaving it i have to say i would of done the same thing, it was the kids own choice to run away or wait for the ferrets... Quote Link to post
