trentotter 158
hi mate if you can get hold of an original TITAN they are 10x the gun the falcon is(falcon bought titan out and messed about with the design of the gun).i owned a titan for abot 5 years then sold it to buy a falcon.biggest mistake of my life it was like selling a aston martin and buying a skoda.at the moment im using a FX TYPHOON ,personally i think its a lot better than the falcon but a little bit cheaper.hope this helps .... Deker 3,478
I have a .22 Falcon FN19RS running a 26ft lbs. It has a barrel as flexible as a bass guitar string, but is well tuned and still delivers 32 full power shots at 26ft lbs. Build quality is not the best in the world, the loading probe is a little fussy about pellets (but it loves AAField and Bisley Magnums), but it is light and easy...and for some reason it is VERY accurate!!! I suggest several rifles are better engineered but I have had it from new (2000) and have no desire or need to trade it in!! Quote Link to post
bedrock 16
Thanks for the replies lads, but some one must have a modern day version. Any information will be helpful. ATB bedrock Quote Link to post

Deker 3,478
Is the build quality that bad on all later versions? im considering buying one and i dont want a second hand piece of crap. The build quality isn't THAT BAD, but the likes of the HW100 or Rapid7 feel more solid! The Prairie is better made! Quote Link to post

Hey that man! I have got an original Titan Manitou in .22 its a great rifle for sure and looks nice as well. Only single shot but never caused me any problems! I also stick with a 4 x 40 scope what more do you need for a 12ft/lb rifle shooting on average 30 - 35yds? Edited February 13, 2009 by masmiffy Quote Link to post
Tyla 3,179
i rate them very highly, been shooting a FN19 .20 since 1999 and it must have accounted for vast amounts of game in that time. i cant fault the accuracy, my only complaint is that i have had to replace the cocking lever twice as they become loose with use but in ten years thats not too bad considering the amount of use it gets!
