ribb 15 Posted February 7, 2009 Report Share Posted February 7, 2009 Hi there,a hypothetical question.For instance you are going to see a litter of 6 3/4grew1/4saluki pups at 16 weeks old,what would you be looking for.?Second scenario it's 6 3/4grew1/4collie pups at 16 weeks old,what would you be looking for?Why would you buy the pup?What would make that one better than the rest?Oppinions please. smithy's lurchers 1 Posted February 7, 2009 Report Share Posted February 7, 2009 before you arrive you will have a picture in your mind exactly what you want regarding size, build, personality, colour, coat ect and the one that ticks the most box's is the one i'd go for. Just because it's the biggest pup now wont mean it will be the biggest once it finishsed maturing. I like a pup thats well proportioned in all aspects legs, back, feet. I always like to see the sire and bitch and if possible a previous litter offspring but if thats not possible definitly the sire and bitch you should get a good feel for what the pup's will look like. Guest mickyrichardson Posted February 7, 2009 Report Share Posted February 7, 2009 First of all general condition of pups are they looked after by the breeder, are dam and sire on show a good observing of the pups on 2 different occasions if possible i like the pups with plenty of life in them i always look for the pups with the nice strong feet and knuckles colour never comes into it as i dont show my dogs always check sight and hearing and if i like i will get Quote Link to post
