are thease 30s and 40lb caught in the uk ? my biggest is 21lb does any one know of any god waters in or around the midlands nice fish any way guys well done

cuttle mill in west midlands holds some nice histric lumps.....

whent to a new lake in longford never been before

 

fished nash bait and had 4 fish two 7lb 1 at 10lb and 1 at 12 but there

is supposed to be a big leather carp in there

only problem is there is a lot of m1 carp in there any way of getting round

these and just getting the bigger ones

Not too impressive, but it was teased out of the Riddings Match pool on 4lb bottom and a rod that is best described as a light bream rod.

Took 10 minutes to get out, I was cacking myself waiting for the 'TWANG' and a feeder flying past my ears for the whole time, and after it was weighed and put back I had to have a ciggy and a little wander to calm down.....

Cheers JohnnyBoy. Gone cold again, but staying pretty low still so will give another go in a day or 2. Got some pigeon food in soak ready for prebaiting.
