Well i know a lamp ain't a dog but i thought i'd put it up here as i only go lamping with dogs.

 

i have a striker at the min but want a variable one but i've never used a blitz or seen one which is best we do the odd fox and quiet a few buns and long ears

just get an inline dimmer for your striker mate deben do them and i think lightforce do them you could also adapt the speed controller for a pigeon magnet that are available on ebay there was a post up regarding this yesterday mate hope this helps

the blitz mate ive got the to u can just buy the blitz dish buts it dear an actually cheaper to buy the full lamp ther perfect for big fields to they come with a watt in them but replace it with a 50watt zennon gives u longer on the battery and a much tighter spott the blitz is also better on a drizzley night which tightens up the spot again u never seen 1 there like a fryin pan mate lol but good lamps

alright mate are they the same as a striker but with a different dish i was thinking of getting a bulb from north east field sports there 8.95 verticle beam are they any good compared to the normal 100w xenon

I Find that any 1.000.000 candle power lamp exceptable and the lighter the better.As you dont whant to be lugging a big heavy lamp around whit you all night And a bag full of quarry. :thumbs:

I Find that any 1.000.000 candle power lamp exceptable and the lighter the better.As you dont whant to be lugging a big heavy lamp around whit you all night And a bag full of quarry. :thumbs:

 

just bring an aprentice to carry lol

yeah diffrent dish but u get a 850 metre bean with the blitz yeah thats the xenon but people say zennon

Im a Striker man myself, dont think that little bit extra in the Blitz's beam warrants lumping a sky dish around also when lamping from the car the Blitz seems to get battered by the wind and the beam bounces all over the show, the few times I have used the Blitz I've struggled like a c**t to get the filter back on too :hmm:
