andyfr1968 772
I use the Marshal M/T (made by Kumo) on my SWB Toyota and can't fault them for the price. I had a set of BFG muds on before and they grip at least as well off road and much better on road. I don't think the mileage will be great as they seem to be a rather soft compound, but I can cope with that for the price and I don't crap myself on the road when it's wet anymore. meinnotts 1
BFG's are the dogs dangleys but a bit rich for me at nearly a £100/corner. i have Insa Traction Tracks on my Defender and they are mega, £ 45 / corner.
perthshire keeper 1,239
ok , im getting a grand vitara in the next couple of weeks and as money burns a hole with me one of the first thing i want to get is some tyres for off road , it's going to be a 03 / 04 shape one i wont be doing anything too extreme , just muddy fields etc what tyres are pretty good for the above and not too noisy on the road , how much would i be looking at for a set of 4 ? once again thanks I wont go by BF Goodrich mud terrains mate. Great off road tyre, no road noise and you get 50,000 out of them. Not sure of prices but would imagine a set of 4 would set you back £450-500. mee to we have them on my L200 and the head keepers landy i realy cant foult then and they make your truck look mean put a set of bulls on it and some fog lamps and mad max would look just [bANNED TEXT] behind the wheel
